Dr. Barbara LaMere-Heck D.D.S.
Gosport Dental Clinic was founded by Dr. Barbara LaMere-Heck in 1981. Dr. LaMere-Heck graduated from Indiana University with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, and then again from IU School of Dentistry in 1980. Following graduation, Dr. LaMere-Heck worked as an associate dentist before opening her own practice. She has three children and four grandchildren, whom she loves spending time with! Dr. Lexie Heck-Britton D.D.S.
Lexie is Dr. Heck’s youngest daughter. She attended Indiana State University where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. After graduation, Lexie attended IUPUI to complete the dental school pre-requisites. Following, she attended dental school at Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in May of 2025. Prior to dental school, Lexie was a dental assistant at the office as well as performing administrative duties. Lexie has one daughter, Eloise, who she enjoys spending time with outside of work.
Jessica Killbride
Jessica grew up in Gosport and studied dental assisting at Ivy Tech in Columbus and received additional dental training at Dental Careers Foundation in Indianapolis. She is X-ray certified and well versed in both dental insurance and clinical responsibilities, so you will find her working in both the business office as well as assisting with patient care! “ I chose to work in dentistry because I enjoy helping people and because I spent a lot of time at the dentist as a child. Dr. Heck was my first dentist and I am so happy to be a part of her team.” When she is not at work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her three children Olivia, Lilly and Andrew. Her hobbies include yoga, hiking with her dogs, and attending her children’s sporting events.
Cayla Kientz-Gelinas
Cayla Kientz-Gelinas has been a valued member of our team since March 2022, serving as our dedicated insurance coordinator. In addition to her administrative expertise, Cayla earned her radiographer license, along with certifications in fluoride application, coronal polishing, and nitrous oxide administration, enhancing her ability to contribute to patient care. Outside of the office, Cayla enjoys spending quality time with her family. She and her husband, Andrew, are proud parents to their daughter, Chandler, and their son, Mather and two stepchildren, Aleeah and Weston. The Kientz-Gelinas family loves outdoor adventures and engaging in various home improvement projects, creating lasting memories while enjoying nature.
Logan Britton
Logan has been with us since 2020 and works as our Digital Lab Technician. He has a passion for innovation and craftsmanship. He has dedicated his career to revolutionizing dental prosthetics through advanced technology, Logan introduced 3D printing and scanning into our workflows, enhancing the precision, efficiency and affordability of dental restorations.
Yvonne Heston
Yvonne has been with us since 1991. Her responsibilities range over a multitude of assisting and lab duties. She has her Expanded Duties Assistant certificate and Dental Radiography license. Yvonne is married, has four daughters and eight grandchildren. In Yvonne’s free time she enjoys camping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Rebecca Krauss
Rebecca has been with us since 2000 and works as one of our Dental Assistants. She loves working with patients of all ages! Rebecca has received her certificates in coronal polishing and fluoride applicant and license in dental radiography from Indiana University-School of Dentistry. She is a Gosport native and was Dr. Heck’s first patient when the office originally opened!
Adelee Kilgore
Adelee is originally from Kansas and was homeschooled through Acellus Academy. From a young age, she showed strong entrepreneurial drive by running her own concession stand business and helping operate her family’s auto glass company.
Adelee joined our team in 2023 and is cross-trained in both dental assisting and lab work. She brings a versatile skill set and a passion for helping patients regain their confidence through their smiles. Adelee loves being part of the office’s supportive, tight-knit team.
She was introduced to the practice through a family member who worked here and quickly found her place. Outside of work, Adelee enjoys horseback riding, welding, racing, woodburning, working on her truck, and fishing.
Jordan Baldridge
Jordan has been with us since 2019. She’s one of our dental hygienists and helps keep our patients teeth and gums clean! She is a registered dental hygienist and is certified to give local anesthetics. In her free time, Jordan enjoys boating, watching sports and spending time with her three children. In addition, she enjoys cleaning teeth and making people feel confident with their smile by helping them keeping their mouths healthy!
Kathy Reid
Kathy, is a graduate of Owen Valley High School and graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry with a degree in dental hygiene in 1992. Kathy first joined Dr. Heck soon after graduation.
Since then, Kathy has dedicated her career to providing compassionate care and building lasting relationships with her patients. Her commitment to excellence and gentle approach has earned her the trust of families throughout the community.
The Reids have 6 children and 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. They are also parents to three rescue beagles, Darrin, Miley, and Copper.
Kathy enjoys traveling with her husband, James, and great niece Savannah.
Kristi Arnold
Kristine is originally from Spencer, Indiana. She attended Indiana University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. Kristine joined our team in 2022 as a cross-trained dental assistant and front office team member, bringing a strong work ethic and positive energy to both clinical and administrative roles.
Prior to joining the dental field, Kristine worked as a server at Olive Garden and also served as an assistant golf coach, where she first connected with our office through a team member. She enjoys the teamwork and shared enthusiasm in the office to help patients achieve beautiful, confident smiles.
Outside of work, Kristine loves taking long walks with her miniature schnauzer, Konan, and enjoys playing a round of golf whenever she can.
Amanda Ezell
Amanda is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Ivy Tech Community College, where she studied Business Administration. Before joining the dental field, Amanda spent 10 years working for the State of Indiana and later chose to stay home to raise her children.
In November 2024, Amanda joined our team in an office administration role, bringing strong organizational skills and a welcoming presence to the front desk. She especially enjoys the family atmosphere in the office and seeing patients leave with a confident, beautiful smile.
Outside of work, Amanda loves spending quality time with her husband and their two children.
